I am concerned that Sam has lost SO MUCH WEIGHT. I was thinking it over this morning. The normal process of a fast is the first ~three days, you're hungry and your body is tearing down everything to get vital nutrients. After this initial period, your body switches into a protein saving mode - you're not hungry and you're not breaking down your body that fast. This second mode especially conserves vital tissue in organs and such. I'm really concerned that Sam drinking the milk only has kept him out of that second mode. He's awfully thin now. Does he plan to die if they don't let him out?
