This was obviously a hybrid horse: the first mile he was a Thoroughbred warming up, and the last quarter he was a Quarterhorse on a sprint.

Wow.  :o

As I heard someone say, "That crazy little coonass took a motorcycle to the horse race!" (Jockey Calvin Borel is a Cajun, if you didn't know.)

Not bad for a $9,500 3 year old gelding, who now has career earnings of $1.8 million after just 9 starts.

The announcer didn't even notice until he was about three lengths ahead and then fumbled for who it was.
