If judges were more interested in Truth, it wouldn't take a year and thousands of dollars. Most hearings would be over in ten minutes.

Now for some bad news!

I'm hearing through the grape vine that my Exwife and her Boyfriend are yet plotting something again to take me to court. (Gotta love it/Being extremly sarcastic here)

and meanwhile the Massachusettes Tax Payers keep paying for her Attorney's fee's and I can't get a free attorney since it would be conflict of interest.

(And Massachusettes wonders why the state is broke, don't figure)

I Just hope if she does take me to court again that the Judge would actually arrest her for making up storys and out right lying.

When she took me to court last year preventing me from moving to N.H. she lied on the original motion to the court stating she Just found out about the move when even on the stand she admitted she knew of my plans to move for at least a year or two prior.

Yesterday was my first day wih my Daughters as Full New Hampshire Residents!

I love it up here, (No police sirens on a daily basis, no storys of people getting shot)
Just nice clean fresh air and people that are actually nice to each other.

My Daughters are Estatic and love the fact that when they look out their bedroom windows they see mountains (And this is a city) :-)

The Other Side Of The Story:

Rich Mattos may have temporarily won in court, but this story as told, is very incomplete. Much of the evidence against Mr Mattos, was not / or could not be considered by the court, for the purposes of this trial ( as to whether he could remove his minor children from Mass to NH ).

What he does not mention, is that the mother of the children in question was 15 years old, when they met. He claimed to be 18 years old, but was in fact 22 years old (almost 23), at the time. She became pregnant and had the first of their two children at the age of 16. It was decided that since she was going to keep the baby that criminal charges would not be sought. After the birth of the child they married to make it legal. At this time a second child was born.

History does repeat itself. His current girlfriend, age 19, is expecting a baby girl due this July.  This is her second pregnancy with Mr Mattos ( age 37 ).  She previously had been pregnant with a baby boy, while she was 17 years old, and still a senior in high school  (and ranked near the top of her class). Sadly though, she lost that baby.

There have been other young girls in Mr Mattos life, but never enough evidence for the legal system to take it to trial.

But most importantly, there are two young girls ( ages 11 & 13 ) that lost in court, on the day Mr Mattos claimed his victory. These young girls are being separated from their mother, that they love, trust & confide in on weekly basis ( this has been ongoing for the entire 6 years since the divorce, NOT just recently as Mr Mattos claims ). These girls are being taken 240 miles away (4.5 hours per Mapquest) to Berlin NH from the Southcoast of Massachusetts. They are being separated from ALL their family and friends including his own mother / their grandmother. His mother begged him not to do this,  his response to this plea was to limit her contact with the children. The children that she helped raise and who have stayed at her house at least once each week since they were born.

This is all, a very selfish and questionable act, by Mr Mattos.

In court, he claimed Berlin had a better job market. Also, that because he owned a home in Berlin, free and clear, that he be allowed to move there. This only happened because he took all the equity out of his Dartmouth Mass home and used it to purchase and subsequently renovate the Berlin property. Had he never taken this risk, his balance on his mortgage would have remained low, and therefore his payments would have remained affordable.  He instead, allowed his mortgage payment to become unmanageable and have his Dartmouth Mass home forclosed on by the bank.

I expect Mr Mattos to read this account of the story and respond. When he does respond, as is typical when he is confronted with the truth, his response will be half truths, misrepresentations of the facts and outright lies. There will also his promise of legal action via the police, court system, etc. This opportunity to go on record is welcomed.

The bottom line is: these girls have asked to live with their mother and their mother wants them, but these requests have fallen on the deaf ears of their father. Let it be known, that these girls have a mother, as well as friends & family, that Love Them Very Much. We have only begun to fight for their rights. Justice will prevail.

Yeah, I'm awful disappointed that the thugs in uniforms couldn't go after this guy because his girlfriends were under some arbitrary numerical age.

I would hope that the children get to be with the parent that they choose to be with—and that the parents (both of them, it sounds like) would stop trying to use the legal system to coerce their own favored outcome.

My Ex wife and my Ex motherin law both suffer from Mental ilness and are collecting thousands in SSDI Benefits.

The Court intervied My children along with counselers and I had numerous  Doctors and School Officials Testimonys to the fact of my parenting skills.

So again Beleive an anonymous post from people with known mental illnesses and drug problems or beleive the Truth wich is available to anyone at the Court!
