       just can't stand is anymore ...... when I watch stuff like this I wonder if the Joints Chiefs will ever walk into the oval office  and say enough is enough , lets get that Constitution out and give it a read through .

Is this true? A military, provided for in the Constitution, would require officer leadership. What in the Constitution would be applicable to challenge this structure?

   None speak for me ... some speak to certain beliefs .. there is some stuff on youtube about the debates before the renewal of the patriotic act and some elected officials I would never have found my self in agreement with spoke my mind for me .

When I first started snooping around here I thought a statement like this was a bit crazy .. now that I have taken the time to read maybe 70 percent of the archives here I find the great majority of the regulars here informed , thoughtful and IMO correct in their views , and am grateful to those who pay for and maintain this site . Where I am currently located .. I have no one to discuss the real issues we face . 


I posted the video to show that there are elected officials who feel as we do ... we just do not get a chance to hear their words .

Well, I watched it and she's the same old Bachmann... if she'd just get the whole truth she might make sense.

If the government had chosen to do nothing,  ALL the dealerships would have gone belly-up. If it's capitalism she's mourning, then fine - stop complaining about what happens when a company stops planning for the future and they go bankrupt and all those dealership close. If it's a "democrat senator" helping out a constituent - why doesn't she just help out hers?

GM was selling the most cars per year up until a few years ago. they sold a lot of cars.

government regulation, and union bullshit screwed them over. 165k average per employee counting all their benefits... honda/toyota/nissan/etc...  around 65k per employee.

The market for their cars - if they entered bankruptcy - would be gone, who'd buy a car from a company that might not meet their warranties? Would you? Free market demands push the unprofitable out, that's the whole basis of our capitalistic society. The union folks would be out of work, the factories would close, and the dealerships would have no viable contact with the company - they'd be out too. Management, from the little guys to the CEO would be looking for a job - the only winners would be the ones with the sweet little parachutes.

 If an elected representative calling the fed gov a bunch of racketeers , thieves and rightly accusing them of violating the Constitution by implementing socialism doesn't deserve a fist pump then I just give up .

You forgot 30 payed sick days a year  , mental health time and a retirement package unknown by any other blue coller(sp?) worker any where .

I have been in the "READY" rooms  a couple of auto plants .....ever seen one ?

 huge room with a hundred up to several hundred employees who jobs no longer exist ... they show up .. read .. play spades/ rummy .. whatever  40 hours a week .. WTF!?!?  From my understanding ... people have been EARNING a nice union paycheck for decades this way .... IMO a little free market correction is just what the doctor ordered

it happens a lot in teachers unions. they sit in a room and bullshit (probably write socialist blogs LOL) all day and collect their full pay.

its a racket it disgusts me seeing people with their union stickers all over everything. buy american this buy american that, bullshit. you priced yourselves out of the game. you make way too much money for your service, and the only reason you even have a job is because of government regulation.

if you ever question "the union" to one of these idiots they're ready for fisticuffs.
