There was a great talk (panel) on agorism at this year's PorcFest (oh, yeah, I'm biassed as one of the speakers). Finally getting the freedom ideas into the FSP  ;)

We're trying to gather together the texts and videos of this topic, which we'll post to this thread and also to a page somewhere.

Darian Worden's talk on Agorist Class Theory is here: http://www.darianworden.com/archives/actpresentation.pdf

The distinguished Agorism panel:

I did enjoy the discussion and all the goodies being given and sold by the agorists.

They had a great table, didn't they?

There was some video shot of the Agorist panel, but the audio quality was quite bad. I'm trying to get the MotorHome Diaries crew to release it to me so maybe at least a transcript can be made of it.

I'm gathering up the materials from the speakers and putting them at the bottom of this page for now: http://altexpo.org/agorism. Matthew wants to clean up his notes before posting them and Darrin (who didn't make it in time) will, I hope, get me what he was going to present.

Fluff and Stuff

I thought they were the Alliance for the Libertarian Left?  Where they the ones with the gun flag at their campsite or was that another group?

The 2 guys that gave the talk on agorism are with the Alliance of the Libertarian Left ( http://all-left.net ). They were helping manning the table in the vendor area in the bingo hall.

From the ALL's banner on the webpage:
The Alliance of the Libertarian Left is a multi-tendency coalition of mutualists, agorists, voluntaryists,
geolibertarians, left-Rothbardians, green libertarians, dialectical anarchists, radical minarchists,
and others on the libertarian left, united by an opposition to statism and militarism, to cultural
intolerance (including sexism, racism, and homophobia), and to the prevailing corporatist capitalism
falsely called a free market; as well as by an emphasis on education, direct action, and building
alternative institutions, rather than on electoral politics, as our chief strategy for achieving liberation.
