I find it excessive... as I find Curt/Lumpy excessive.

His behavior on more than one occasion I found to be unnecessarily confrontational ie. he is the first one to start calling people thugs etc. A bit of a drama queen, grandstanding and looking for the spotlight.

I was a victim of hearing his calls on Sunday. He was real winey in the cruiser.  I might have tazed him.

I'd thought I had figured out every possible angle on the issue of why we don't need the State--but now there's a brand new one.  We don't need the State to go about destroying our lives--we're perfectly capable of doing it ourselves . . .
Is it so difficult to give somebody in Kurt's position a little sympathetic respect, and save the criticism for a later time when events have settled a bit? And maybe do it quietly, in private, when you do?  This sort of divisiveness won't do anyone any good.  It just reflects badly on the entire movement.

Fluff and Stuff

Sam, if you don't know how Russsel feels about Kurt, maybe you should ask him.  It might shed some light on the situation for you.

I spoke to several people today who agreed and appreciated my comment.  And some of them didn't hear the part in the cruiser!  Nobody else's behavior reflects on me.

Comments from three participants who have good standing, experience, and knowledge...

Might be more going on than you realize Sam A.

Besides any of that, letting people know about somone's conduct is a priority for me, and one of the best uses of this forum.

Blind support of someone just because he has our views makes us seem less intelligent, and more open to valid criticism from those that would call us "a closed, unwelcoming, group". Critical analysis should always be welcome.

This does not mean I do not like Kurt, or do not wish Kurt were free. I like Kurt, and I realize Kurt has faults, and I wish Kurt would be free so he could best address them.

eh, i don't think being angry at people who are stealing your things and taking you away to a cage is a fault. sounds like a plus to me.

Kurt's method is not the one I would choose, that being said, I like that we have a person like Kurt doing civil-dis.  He adds yet another color to the rainbow, if you will.  Varied tactics is a sound strategy.  Free Kurt!
