Anyone in practice as mediator or other conflict resolution professional up in the free state?  I'm looking to see if anyone knows the lay of the land for mediators.  We are a moderately regulated profession in MD and I am curious to know the regs in NH.

Check out the cronyism!  In NH one must be an attorney in order to mediate for the courts.  Disgusting.  Especially since attornies, trained to be litigious, don't make the best mediators.

They make the worst mediators! That is, if they're good lawyers, they're terrible mediators/arbitrators.

Amen!  God forbid your advocate is a mediator.  God forbid your mediator is an advocate.
