However, I do discourage the smokers from smoking around other people, as that hurts others.
You might want to stop spreading misinformation long enough to do a little research.? The only large scale study on this topic would be a good place to start.

With regard to a post at the beginning of this thread, I must say that I found the "kick in the jimmy" comment absolutely hysterical.? Thanks for posting that.

Back on topic, I used to be tolerant of religious nuts, but I just don't seem to have that tolerance anymore.? People bringing up their God or Jebus in conversation makes my blood boil without even bringing up their lifestyle hangups.? I need to work on that, since I will likely wind up associating with some  when I get to NH.

I have worked with a couple of Porc's who I know to very involved in their religion and who have to know my views and found they just went about the task without prostelizing or getting on my case in any way.

Does saying the word "jebus" somehow work like a stake on a vampire or crossing yourself?

I don't know but I am really starting to hate any word or sentance with BUS in it.

I think what I said is very accurate.? Secondhand smoke hurts others.? It makes clothes, hair, and, persons stink.? It makes people cough.? Smoke lowers aerobic abilities.? These are all true statements (well, the stink thing is more like a commonly held opinion).? Note, I never said anything about secondhand smoke causing cancer or death.

Thanks.  How about "nuke a gay whale for christ?"

I love the word jebus too.  It is like the perfect summation of the boogyman concept of Xtians that I see all too often.

Homer Simpson said it best, "save me, jebus!"

That is exactly who I picture when I see the word  jebus.

I actually have a t-shirt that says "Nuke the Unborn Gay Whales for Jesus!"  :)  Guaranteed to offend practically everyone.  :)

My friend has a button that has the "nuke a gay whale for christ" saying on it with symbols for each word.

I really don't understand why you're so mad at me Mike. It's not like you to hold a grudge.
What can I say?  I am intolerant of immoral intolerance.
You say homosexuals are immoral.  I say you are immoral for saying they are.

I have been such a blatant hypocrite in the past.

I'm sorry, Tracy.   :-[
