It's sad to see active, creative people like Varrin getting sucked into their madness.? He keeps saying he's making progress, and we find it's making progress on such critical issues as getting Jean and Amanda to talk to each other.? Meanwhile, we see zero of use coming out of the FSP leadership for months.? Last thing was Varrin doing Porcfest.? Rogues like Brian Sullivan get things done somehow depite all their roadblocks.

Maybe he just ignores all the rules and does everything on his own... like us.

Why don't we just get out there and convert 20,000 Granite Staters to the cause of liberty.

My philosophy in the very short time I've been here has been this:  If I'm not working, I'm going to be out talking to people and trying to promote liberty.  It isn't hard to talk to people and find common ground.  The FSP is merely trying to get liberty oriented people to move to NH ... but it seems like for whatever reasons they're way behind the 20000 goal. 

Myself, I'd like to have liberty in my lifetime ... not my old age.  If we sit around and wait for 20,000 people to come here, we might be in for a long wait.  Lets go out and get liberty in our lifetime, regardless of whether a single free stater ever moves to NH again.

Exactly.

And why do they exclude New Hampshirites from signing up with the FSP in the first place?  The whole concept the FSP is based on is a total number of people in one place that form a critical mass at a certain population ratio.  Nobody moved into Quebec to form that movement.  If they excluded the Quebecois from signing up, there would have been no quiet revolution at all.

Are you going to tell them the truth about what Real Freedom is? How many are you going to lose to the thought ofabolishing The War On Drugs alone? Public schools? Welfare? Social Security? PBS? Farm Subsidies? You wouldn't lie about those and a whole bunch of other topics, would you?

Though I've seen many libertarian politicos do this, I will absolutely not lie about my ideals. ?If people don't like it, then we don't get their support. ?Oh well. ?Openness and honesty are my priorities.

None of the people I hang out with try to soften the liberty message ..... freedom is good news .... you don't have to hide it. That is why half of us are NHites that are just as excited ....heck we even have a liberty loving dog that posts.
