I like the area. This is very subjective. Permanent or base to scout around?

Michael Fisher

Only 5 minutes from Concord?  Not bad.  :)

FTL_Ian

Possibly buying, but not permanent.  Will live there for a while to learn the state.  Why do you like the area, Pat?

LR6:  According to the map programs it's 20-26 mins.. how do you get 5?

Because it's only 5 miles away from northern Concord?   ???

FTL_Ian

Well, that's good to know...are Boscawen and Cantebury considered part of Concord?

No, they are separate towns.

I looked at Boscawen.. and liked it.
Franklin is nice too.  About 20 mins from Concord.

I think once you move to 1 part of NH .... you will just fall in love with that place and not move again. 8)   So you should just move to Keene ..... to make sure. ;)

Amen brother

Very true Russell.
Although I love driving and seeing all the small little downtowns.

also you should know how many stores you want to live by.
Certain towns have maybe a small mom and pop shop.  You will have to drive 20 minutes to get to stores.

Oh course Keene has it all.

It's typical small town NH. 8600 population.

Good fishing and paddling on Webster Lake. Yes, you can use motor boats there, also; just not my style.

Zoning ordinances are dated 1971. Not a lot of desire to change them. I haven't read them but if 8600 people can live with them, I could live there for a bit and get to know the people.

our "new" theater is small :-[ ..... but it is just right for me .... the women here are good kissers

We both were commenting that we couldn't wait to get back to NH after a day in CT ..... it just doesn't feel right down there.

Kat Kanning

Have you kissed more than one woman in Keene?

Russell Kanning

so pat .... how have you guys liked concord .... now that you have been there awhile?
