I found the remake so irritating and dull, I didn't make it to the second night.

I watched the previews, then I happened to find myself in front of a TV for the last 15 minutes.

My first thought was, anyone who thinks TV shows were too slow in the '60s wouldn't make it past the opening credits of this one.

My second thought, on seeing the finale: WTF???

I've learned to hate the palm phone and the bing bing bing chick.  I also want to buy that subaru guy some croakies for his damn sunglasses.

That's funny; I found the Palm Pre chick mesmerizing and feel a strange compulsion to buy one now, which is idiotic because no one ever calls me.  Perhaps because it was a map of downtown San Francisco she kept binging, which made me feel homesick.

I do, however, want to knee the Subaru guy in the groin, and bitch-slap his girlfriend for putting up with his crap.

I gave you Karma 801 for the 300th time for the comment about the Subaru guy.  I liked that commercial more than the Palm one.  I just can't stand her.  I saw her much too much.  I've been saying "kaybyeeee" like the pothole did all day.

my co-workers now hate me, they hate me more for trying to explain the prisoner to them.

Haha, yeah, I loved the pothole, and the aggro Russian pipe, and the temp gecko.  But I'm still not switching to Geico.

I just recalled something that weirded me out about the remake: Ian McKellan, as Number Two, looked oddly like Ron Paul.

Have they ever been seen together?

Even my uncle, who is a lawyer AND works for the state, got how wrong this version was, and summed up his review with "I think I'll sue AMC for 6 hours of my life back."   :horse:

I regret to say that I watched all six hours of this crap. If you haven't yet, don't waste your time; don't even waste your bandwidth downloading it.

Didn't!  Never had any intention to watch it. I new that they could never touch the original.

my feelings exactly. remakes are, for the most part, not very good, and from the previews it looked as if this one wouldn't be any good. turns out that feeling was right.

Yes, I saw them interviewed along with Harry Potter. Jason Sorens was not present.

I didn't consider the whole thing worthless; it was pretty interesting, actually. But I hated the ending, and it left unanswered questions.

Having just watched BSG: The Plan last night, I'm left wondering if everyone named 6 is wicked hot?   :crazy3:
