I might as well say it here, I've already told my parents who are not pleased.  I've told my friends who aren't pleased.  My girlfriend also is worried.

1) I will never take the swine flu vaccine if forced upon me.
2) I will not pay $1000 a day
3) I will sit in jail for an indefinite amount of time if they so choose to keep me there
4) If forced, I'll do whatever it is to make sure that needle doesn't enter my skin
5) If arrested, I will not give my name, I will go limp, I will not actively cooperate.
6) I will not pass go, and I will not collect $200.

so there.  Come find me dinks.  Health care workers might be immune from prosecution, but they're not immune from me defending myself.

What bothers me is the number of people that wouldn't consider doing one, let alone all of them. Not so much because they're scared of what will happen to them but because it never occurred to them to begin with.

According to the report people can be fined for violating a quarantine order. There was no mention of mandatory vaccination.

AntonLee

ha I didn't see that I was blinded by my rage.  Well if they do make it mandatory I'll do the above.

Ogre

Of course they're not going to make a blanket statement that its mandatory. That just might wake some people up. Instead, it will be suggested. Oh, and if they decide you're a risk, they will suggest you get the shots. And if you refuse, they're going to quarantine you in your home for whatever period of time they like. And if step out of your home during that period, you will be fined or jailed. Its for the public good, you know. And only those crazy people would be unreasonable and threaten other people. Oh, and if you're one of "those" people, you might be quarantined in your house, while the state will take your children, for their own protection, of course. After all, you're the one being "unreasonable" and dangerous, potentially spreading this horrible infectious disease to those poor children against their will.

As a matter of fact, if you, personally, are not first in line to get these "free" shots, you hate children and should be immediately separated from your family. Yes, the special SWAT/Hazmat team will be equipped to move you if you will not move yourself.

If this isn't the ultimate "For The Children (TM)" political move, I don't know what is.

I couldn't have written it any better AntonLee!  ;D

Hey, you never know, maybe we will all meet up in the "slammer"!  :D

I'd like to add a 7) for myself:   I won't eat the food in jail either, because they might have "it" in there, you never know.   Damn it, I'll write a book while in jail, called the "Jail Diet" and maybe get rich too!  :)

If you go to jail, you will be vaccinated. If you're going to "do whatever it is to make sure that needle doesn't enter your skin", I suggest you do it before that point.

Should this be an FSP "I will move if" trigger?

Fluff and Stuff

I talked to a MA activist as the LFOD Rally and he said he is one of the folks that stopped things like this from becoming mandatory in MA.

I don't know. Lauren refused to get the TB vaccine in jail and was isolated.

It's not a vaccine, it's a test to see if you have  TB.

AntonLee

I've never been to prison, I imagine they'll just beat me up.

But you're right, it'll just be easier to move into NH.

if it were a hospital. . . I have a better chance.  I've successfully gotten a nurse to not give me meds simply by telling her that I would hold her personally responsible for forcing medication down my throat.  Sometimes giving a person a chance to change their mind by issuing an ultimatum such as "if those pills go down my thoat, the next available chance I will begin to hurt myself until you get my stomach pumped to remove them"

I think you're right William, it won't work in jail because I don't think they care if you live or die there.
