my wife worked in a  NH bar/restaurant for 9 yrs:
NH law:
if the ''bar'' serves full-menu food (some ''beer pubs'' (penuches in keene, for instance), have a limited liquor license; they can only serve beer/wine/40 proof liquers; you have to have a full menu, w/ a certain percentage of booze-to-food sales, to sell high-proof hooch), children are allowed at tables w/in the bar area, until the establishment stops serving food for the evening.
they are not allowed to sit ''at the bar'' at any time.
