Brandy and distilling

So as an adjunct to the canning we do every summer and fall, my better half and I are thinking of doing some distillation.  We'll probably make brandy.  I need to either buy or fabricate some equipment for the process.

Depending on the availability of skills or tools.  We'd like to see if anyone is interested in helping us make the equipment and distilling the tasty (hopefully) beverage.  Payment could be negotiated as appropriate but could certainly include said beverage.
