I need help with homeschool events for my son

I joined up to several homeschool newsletters but I don't receive any emails from them.  I must be looking on the wrong websites or something because I can't find any social activities for him.

Perhaps where I live, (Campton),  is the problem?  I don't mind traveling but I have to be back here by 2:30 pm, so I guess it couldn't be that far away unless it was on a day that Rick is home.

Any advice?
