Greetings Liberty Lovers,

This post is to inform you the that Merrimack Valley Porcupines will hold the monthly meeting for November this Saturday, November 7th at Murphy's Taproom in Manchester at 11:00.  This month we will have a lot to talk about with all the local goings on so come down and have your say.  As the new moderator I would like to propose two topics for discussion at our meeting;

- A Chinese philosopher said;
"If your enemy is secure at all points, be prepared for him. If he is in superior strength, evade him. If your opponent is temperamental, seek to irritate him. Pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant. If he is taking his ease, give him no rest. If his forces are united, separate them. If sovereign and subject are in accord, put division between them. Attack him where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected."
- Sun Tzu, the Art of War

How may this insight be applied to our activism?  Where is our enemy weak and how might we best irate him?  Where are we strong?  Where might we best divide the people from the sovereign.

- It has been observed that money is the lifeblood of politics.  Whether you are working inside the system or outside, economics is a factor we all share.  It would be great to hear ideas from our members on how money might raised to support activism.  Short of George Soros realizing the Liberty is the answer, we can be certain that more economic resources will be needed in our cause.

Other activities will include the book swap and may include a guest speaker.  As always, we welcome all new movers to come down and meet your fellow activists, as well as any liberty lovers looking for fellowship.

Sincerely,

Glen Dickey
