Why would a Freestater be interested? There are two resort locations in NH in the White Mountains, and there is 1 location in Ogunquit, Maine that isn't far from Portsmouth/Seacoast.

Someone could invest in this, use it to visit prior to being able to buy and (once you move permanently) rent it out to new movers looking who are on scouting missions, or use it to allow family to visit easily.

If anyone is interested in more on this, please let us know. Maintenance fees are $599/year. http://www.innseason.com/isr/ownership_vacationclub.aspx and look at resorts and destinations tab at the top of that page for more on the NH/Maine locations.

90,000 points to use per year (equals about 2 weeks time off-season, 1 week busy-season, and you can use the points to get partial weeks at different locations). We'll likely go through an agent, as all of the membership benefits would transfer if we do so (if we don't use the agent, you'd simply get the time). Benefits include use of facilities even if you're not staying there (just call in advance, e.g. means you can park at The Falls if you want to go to the beach in Maine, or use its indoor pool and hot tub, or park & ride to skiing even if you're not staying at the one at Loon Mountain), bonus weeks/weekends for significant discounts, and trades with 2,200+ resorts/cruises.

The purchase price was almost $14,000, but feel free to make an offer.

If you know someone who may be interested, feel free to pass along the info.  We may be able to offer a finder's fee if a deal goes through.

I can see it being really interesting for a freestater who can't make the move yet.
