Yes you can live across the street from the
freakishly tall Russell look alike and his lovely bride.

There is a pretty view across the very large back yard.  And in a year or two there will be a view of the wood-burning power plant that will be about 100 yds. away.

FTL_Ian

Am I blind or is there no price listed on that page?

FTL_Ian

Yes.  I am blind.  $132,500.

Taxes are pretty high down there, I see.  $4,472!   :'(

I'll bet if you offered Fanny Mae $80,000 they would piss and moan and sell it to you.   :)

Really just a 100 yards?

Yep, although the entrance will be on rt. 119... which would make it a two city block walk to work.

Pat K

My guess is there will be a big environmental fight
against this. There almost always is.

That's how it starts!  First you get a power plant and then city blocks!  What do people in Winchester, other than 'jaded' Jim know about city blocks?

I'll trade them straight up for my house in NC...

Lauren and I were noticing the excellent gardening opportunity that this property is.  It has a sun-room and an acre of open south facing slope that was used as a dog run.

We are told that the building has plumbing and electrical issues.

TackleTheWorld

Maybe if you grew some tasty stuff in the big garden you could trade it to the plumber and electrician across the street.
