PETA a terrorist orginization?

I do not agree with PETA's stance but putting them on a list that suggests they are a terrorist organization is going a bit too far.

Some things PETA does ARE terrorism, IMO. Granted, I don't let the term "terrorist" conjure up images of fanatical muslims and the Twin Towers like they're aiming for.

Terrorism is nothing more than crime. Often really sick crime, but crime. PETA activists have been known to destroy property and harass people in order to make their points. The only purpose I think that could serve is to instill fear in order to further a political message. That is the definition of terrorism.

That said, classifying an entire organization is collectivist and destructive. I'm sure there are sincere, compassionate members of PETA who shouldn't be lumped in there.

But hey, it's the government, what do you expect?

Someone attending a government conference a few years back saw them use the FSP as an example of domestic terrorist.

And yes, that's actually a serious question. If you belong to ANY organized group, you are likely a terrorist, or at least classified by one by the government.

Well of course religions are terrorist organizations, most use fear (of hell) to get people to attend church, give money to the church, and bring others in to be terrorized by the preacher.
