Grafton, Hoyt Farm, Thursday Dec. 10th, 7pm We'll be making signs for the anti-fed rally on the 12th, and if anyone wants to make signs for Patty's anti-war protest on the 11th, we can do that too :)  :protest: :brave: :soapbox: :jailbird:

I vouch for that; I'm one of them.

Since I don't understand it, others wont either.

You do not understand " no initial violence"? It means nobody has the right to do initial violence.

I used to go by: LRD but, people kept beating me up over it, so, I stopped.

Would you like to buy a vowel?    Lord?  Lard? Lerd (short for Lizard?) Lird?  Lyrd (...and sometimes "y")

That reminds me of an  "beater" car I had 30 odd years ago, it was an old massive Ford LTD, that was spray painted a sick lime green, my friends dubbed it "the LSD" because it was always a trip to drive and we sometimes were too.  We never beat anybody up though just drove through a cornfield...foggy night,  short attention span etc.

If you have to 'splain it, it's time to come up with an alternative slogan.

I know this thread is now old hat, but what Kat was saying rather clearly, I thought, was that the Non-initiation of Force Principle, otherwise known as the Non-coercion Principle, doesn't exactly roll off the tongue.

On a sign it would be:

"My carrot works better than your stick."

   "Coercion doesn't work."

   "Coercion is for tyrants."

   "Coercion is for losers."

Or any of a number of other short, simple phrases...

Ask me about my freeway sign project next time you see me.  Or send me your email address, and I'll send you the draft plan in a word document.

I love signs that people almost have to read...when they are bored... not distracted...and can't turn them off.  Especially on big traffic weekends.

What would you say to the brainwashed masses in TV land if you had their attention for a short time?

Ideas for introductory level signs for the general public.

Big Government hurts us all.

Get the government out of my life.

US foreign policy hurts Americans.

You should spend your tax dollars not the government.

US Government = Big Brother.

For a general anti-federal reserve sign meant to be read by the clueless masses, I'd probably do something like:

INFLATION = THEFT

(with an Uncle-Sam-wants-you-style image)
Bernanke wants YOUR money!

Error,

Your Ron Paul quote is one of the best signs on this thread:

On 8 ft. by 2 ft. white, corrugated plastic,

I JUST SAVED A BUNCH OF MONEY
BY SWITCHING TO RON PAUL!

Sweet!
