What are some of the best lines you heard in 2009?
I'm asking about lines from people you actually know and lines that were uttered in your presence. These don't have to be poetic or musical, but one example is:
As we drove along in Marblehead, Ma., we passed a sign in a window which read POLICE MUSEUM, and as we (Hoytians) discussed with curiosity, Kat sang out (to the tune of "... They took away the trees and put 'm in a tree museum ..."), "They took away the police and put 'm in a police museum, and they charge the people a dollar-and-a- half just to see 'm."

Remember when you typed:

Don't ever call the police if you want to resolve your issue without guns. The police always bring guns.

That was awesome!

Someone I know personally posted on Facebook today "The National Debt is so high it's not even a real number anymore. We owe something like 5 unicorns, a hobbit and a 4-sided triangle!"

Jason Talley said something like "When a black man pepper sprayed me and a while man choked me to the ground, I wasn't thinking 'What a great time for racial harmony!'"

I vote the Jason Talley line.

Me at Murphy's one taproom not too long ago:

"If there is a strange name for what you believe in...you belong in Keene."

I was told at the time that this was worth writing down and holding onto.

This thought entered my head a couple of weeks ago: If receiving an education was a 'Right' it would be even harder to explain government schools.

On Christmas eve (in a shop in Concord) a woman was trying to recall a bumper sticker ... "When the power of love has outlived the love of power, the world will know peace."
