And what happens to the cop if the judge realizes this was a ridiculous charge? Nothing. There's nothing to prevent cops from arresting people without cause. No accountability. Great job on video taping it. Can you imagine the exaggerations and lies that would be commonplace if there wasn't this objective recording of the event as it happened?

Ogre

Good point, Paul -- but do keep in mind that touching a policeman is a serious crime in this country.

Who'd want to touch one?

Man what a candy ass that cop is.

He is tops in the running for this months Jack-ASS award.

Man what a candy ass that cop is.

It's so easy to look tough
while pretending to be a victim.

Here's a little ditty to sing when you run into the arresting LEO.  Use a mincing, childish voice, and sing almost-but-not-quite to "Oh, Dear, What Can the Matter Be?"

Oooh!  Oooh!  I've been assaulted!
Bad boy!  That man is faulted!
He . . .  touched . . . the Prrresence Exalted!
Somebody save me from him!

Oooh!  Oooh!  I'm threatened so much!
That nasty man came so close he could touch!
How . . . could . . .  Free Staters send such
A scary bad man after me?

I enact disproportionate retribution
For soiling my delicate constitution.
That's so important, it invalidates
The meaningless one of the United States.

I'd deal with this case like a man, but I can't--he's
Part of this huge gang of fierce vigilantes.
I'm already wetting the lacy pink panties
I wear underneath the blue serge.

He's off the street and I'm safer now, but
They need me to handle some dangerous nut.
I could get a hangnail, a bruise, or a cut!
Better pretend I don't hear.

I'm so important, I save you from crooks.
That 8-year-old girl coming home from school looks
Like there's a nail file stashed in her books
Kick her down onto the ground!

I'll polish and add more to it later.

We are going to be in the area tomorrow. Is Mike still in the manch jail?

TackleTheWorld

His arraignment is tomorrow, probably in the morning.  Jim and I can join you.  We need to find out times and places.

Mike Barskey

I'll be there, too, if I can hitch a ride with Jim and Lauren.

Lumpy

We want to go...  can we follow someone or else try to get address for the GPS??? Jim? Lauren? Mike?  Richard?  Larry? Moe? Curly?

Jim Johnson

I'll be at Richard's place at 6:20.  My car is full but you can follow me to Manchester.
