NHNORML may have some contact information. If you grow pot you may be a NORML member, and they do provide legal assistance. We may wish to contact them, even if they don't know they may wish to become involved. It would be a good way to build a relationship with that organization.
Let's make sure we do our homework on the convicted, before we stake ourselves to his name. We don't want to be seen defending someone who has a history of violent crime.

They hasn't been convicted yet...Oops, I forgot, this is a drug "crime"; guilty as found!

Always good to research, but most people in the marijuana industry are pretty harmless, especially the growers.  They may defend their crop with violence if necessary, but no good grower would ever draw attention to themselves by commiting violent acts.
