I recently found out about the band Muse I really liked the song uprising. After looking at the lead singers wikipedia page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matthew_Bellamy
in the wikipedia article it says he expresses strong views in georgism. What do you think?

The song United States of Eurasia reminds me of the book 1984

it's funny, i got that album, loved it, then heard somewhere that it is all about evil corporate america, and stopped listening to it. then the other day i heard that it is actually a libertarian record. now im listening to it again. it sure sounds libertarian to me...

My ringtone is a Muse song.   :icon_guitarist:

I love this song when it plays on the Sirius Alt Rock station.

i don't deny it. when music is outright socialist, i am usually easily swayed to not listen to it. when it is outright libertarian, i am usually easily swayed to give it a listen (although, unfortunately, most libertarian music seems to end up disappointing. muse is an exception to the rule, i think).

Certain Muse songs annoy me about as much as "Imagine" does when it comes to conjuring images and philosophies I don't respect.

Muse is a great band all around but every band will have its goods and bads ... just look at Van Halen ...
