I voted no.  The 2nd Amendment doesn't give anyone any rights.  The government isn't morally allowed to create any regulations on firearms as far as I'm concerned.  The creator gave everyone on Earth the right to own any gun they want at any time, for any reason.  The 2nd Amendment just limited the federal government of the US from doing anything to regulate gun rights from a legal point of view.

Although it is absolutely true, it is way too much to understand for average Joe the Plumber. I think the question is formulated wrong way. It should be "does the 2nd amendment enumerates" instead of "gives". How many people do you know who understand the difference? More important to ask is why the question was stated the way it was? Those who wrote it I am sure new the difference.
