Joke on my ethnicity (Irish, bad word  "Mic") evoked because March for me :_The_Leprechaun_Life__by_Jord is about St. Patricks; combined with my favorite ethnic food MEX = "MIC MEX".

Not PC, hope no offense taken.

All dishes welcomed no matter the heritage.

it makes sense to me to have a food theme each month .... for this month .... HOT
for yours it could be irish or mexican or both :)

Irish food historically was very limited as Irish were enslaved to farm for England for so long. My grandparents had to leave or starve around 1912. Taking up arms secretly :snake: according to a cousin. My Mom said this was "blarney".
Any way I think Irish food sucks.

As an Irish Mexican I take umbrage at this thread! :P
Your grandparents were about 60 years too late for the starvation.

Patty, I think the confusion was over your spelling.   Although the term may derive from the common Irish Mac or Mc,  in America the slur is generally spelled Mick.

So if your planning some Irish cuisine, can I expect a pint of Guinness and a potato?

See you on the 10th if I'm not sequestered.

Hey Lloyd,  when did my granpappy leave the emerald isle?

i think you're Scot and 3 kinds of German.

Not possible.  My father carefully explained to me when I was just a young'n that  he was 75% Irish and my mother was 25% Irish, which made me 100% Irish.   ;D

More blarney, I cant believe anything I recall they said.  ::)

Jerry you are 125%. We missed you a lot at the Hoytian potluck. There was excellent food, conversation and fienship.
These were there too:  >:D ^-^ :D ;) :boogie: :lurk: :icon_guitarist: :icon_cheers: :book1: :hello: :hippy2: :NinjaIconA: :icon_albino:
