UK civ dis: man gets 6 months in jail for allowing smoking

Based on the absurd theory that it's his business and he should be able to allow smoking if he wishes, Nick Hogan refused to pay a £10,000 fine. He was sentenced to six months in jail.

The sentence is doubly interesting when compared to sentences for actual violent crime.
