The Alternatives Exposition, or AltExpo, started in 2007, when a bunch of us couldn't stomach the mainstream topics that other Liberty Forum organizers were booking and we couldn't get topics on developing alternatives on the agenda.

Since the first one, AltExpo#0, we've continued to innovate and build a following. We were first to vend at PorcFest (not including Ward with his chili, of course), create and circulate alternative money systems, build a whole side agenda event that was exclusively non-parliamentary politics oriented, and we've always built a bigger village for the economy-minded event attender, both in the campgrounds and in the hotels.

Our bigger vision includes a directory of all the "alternatives" being developed, first in the Shire, then more broadly all over the world. We also plan events in communities outside of FSP events in towns all over New Hampshire, then in other locales, including major east coast cities, the southwest and the west coast of north America. If anyone sees the potential of this for building grassroots freedom communities like we do, please join us in helping build this whole concept out.

You can come see what we do and who we attract at AltExpo#15 at Liberty Forum, 20-23 February 2014. We'll have time to talk there and we'll have a session on Sunday after hotel check-out to wrap up our event and talk about the prospects for the future.

We have been running on donations, so please kick in a few bucks to make it all possible at our GoFundMe site or in person at the event. Our treasurer also accepts BitCoins, so email him for details at dcuevas718 at gmail dot com.

Thanks for reading and let's talk more about the possibilities soon!
(and don't forget to help crowd-fund us!)

The schedule will be posted there as it gets finalized. It'll also show up on the Liberty Forum calendar, as well.

See you there!
