Good point, Kevin. Thanks for bringing me back on topic.

And thanks, Kat, for the homeschooling info the other day. It was helpful.

Oh good :)  We've got a ton of books here the kids are welcome to use.

Wait a sec..where's all the homeschooling info in this thread?  Although I must say I've learned a great day about ShyFrog and Mike Barskey. Guess it's a good way to get a feel for the forum.  ;D

Welcome  :icon_pirat:

If you want to know the "law" and what is required: http://nhhomeschooling.org/law

While I don't endorse the NHHC, there are a lot of really good resources on the site. Poke around. There's plenty of info.

You can search the Yahoo Groups for local homeschool groups and mailing lists. The Keene group is particularly active: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/KeeneHomeschool/

There are plenty of participating agencies (one of the legal requirements) to choose from as well. I am currently using Scholars' Academy http://www.scholarsacademynh.org/ in Manchester as a participating agency. You can contact the schools on this list (I don't think it's very current) as well. http://nhhomeschooling.org/non-public-schools

Here are some other great resources of information:

Then there's always this: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=10150128153035341&ref=ts  :icon_pirat:
