SEAL PAC Sues City of Dover. Again.

SEAL PAC, the Seacoast Liberty Police Anti-Corruption Campaign, filed its second lawsuit against the City of Dover, NH, today. The suit, a petition for a restraining order against the City, requests that Strafford County Superior Court order the City to refrain from disrupting informational displays hosted by SEAL PAC.

The informational displays, held in downtown Dover, provide the public with information about abuses of police authority. On a number of occasions, members of the Dover police department's mounted patrol have visited these displays, parking their horses so as to obscure the displays from the public. SEAL PAC Coordinator David Montenegro asked the mounted police to discontinue its actions, and contacted Dover police chief Anthony F. Colarusso, Jr. about the matter. Colarusso declined to remedy the department's practice, prompting this morning's lawsuit.

Video footage of the Dover mounted police blocking SEAL PAC's displays is available online at http://www.youtube.com/DoverExposure.

For more information about this case, Mr. Montenegro can be reached via SEAL PAC's hotline (516) 345-1072, or by e-mail: sealpac@zenzebra.mv.com. More information about SEAL PAC, including all of SEAL PAC's press releases, can be found on the SEAL PAC website: http://WWW.SEALPAC.ORG.
