Think there will be a trial or to-be-continued?

While in Valley Street I had a motion filed with the district court to plead nolo so I could appeal and get a jury trial in the superior court.

Ivy convinced me to have the trial in district court first so I would be able to see their playbook, then appeal in a jury trial.

I spoke to the prosecutor (who had no idea about my motion) and he scheduled the trial for July 23rd at 1pm at the district court.

I knew yesterday would be uneventful so I didn't make a big deal about having a bunch of people show up. We were there for 15 minutes, and they got me out of the court room before the judge ever came in.

At the trial I don't plan on making any big legal arguments or trying to appeal to the morality of the judge but for the jury trial/appeal I have something up my sleeve that might just get me acquitted, if I am able to pull it off. ;)

Thanks for the update, bigmike.

I can't find when David K.'s and Catherine B.'s continued trials were supposed to be. Anyone know?

If the prosecuter does not request longer than 30 minutes in advance per court rule, there will likely be another date set for the trial.
