Film Producers want to get the Free State Project before a national audience

anyone want to help us out?

my film partner and i have recently finished a documentary entitled "For Liberty: How the Ron Paul Revolution Watered the Withered Tree of Liberty", and are preparing for our next project, which is negotiating a possible television series that will highlight various groups/projects around the country that fall outside of mainstream American culture, from the perspective of those who choose to do so. we had already planned on attending porcfest this year, and figured that while we were out there, the subject for the pilot episode would be the free state project.

therefore, we are planning to spend some extra time in new hampshire and talking to free-staters from all walks of life, learning why it is that they choose to participate. we'd like to hear from a number of you guys that are willing to get in front of a camera. we are specifically looking for someone how plans on moving out there to NH during the month of june, free-staters involved in various levels of NH government, activists, or whatever else you think we need to give the fsp a proper presentation.

i would very interested to hear about what you guys have to say about this.

I'm sure you will get a lot of folks to talk to you at Porcfest. There were people interviewing FSP members the day NH was chosen down in NYC for a documentary that never happened. Then a couple of guys taped us over a couple of years for a documentary and nothing came of it. There were, probably other claims for documentaries about the FSP that I can't remember.

Dave Ridley

I still feel bad about not being able to provide these guys with some of my raw tape they were looking for,
they are the only documentary crew I think I've ever had contact with this century which actually completes the projects it starts.

Thanks for being forgiving Hoop and look forward to seeing some vids that blow mine out of the water.

I do hope you'll consider posting some of your raw tape or what not shortly after shooting it...that would boost interest.

I'm not that comfortable getting in front of a camera (though you may convince me to), but I'd be happy to help you out with anything else you need.

Previous efforts include:

Christina Heller who did a short documentary that appeared on Current

And then did a lot of filming for a full length docu I think is still in the works...

Perhaps those efforts can be combined, to both improve the length of the coverage (ie earlier footage mixed with more current stuff), but also to help avoid duplication and thus only one (or 2) will ever see the light of day...

For Liberty is superb, if anyone's not familiar with it, and very high production value. I'm in Los Angeles, so I'm not sure I can do much personally, but I encourage people to help this happen any way they can.

Hoopydoo

thanks for all the great info, guys. i wasn't aware that there were attempts/plans at a fsp documentary. it's too bad no one ever did anything with it.

ttie- thanks for the props on For Liberty. glad you liked it

seth-thanks for the links, i'll check those out. we plan on shooting all original footage while we're out there, so we won't need to bother anyone for footage.

ethan- if you're not comfortable, that's fine- not sure anyone really is. chris and i HATE being in front of the camera.

if any of you know people willing to get on camera- let me know. we'd like meet some people willing to let us follow them around for a day at home just going through their routine. and if anyone knows of someone (or many someones) who'd put us up for the night- that would be great too. this way we could have some quality hang out time with some of you guys.

Homeland Security use's websites like this one to document and list all those who might oppose or expose the corporate states currently enslaving the vast majority of the worlds population.

Electronic vote machines. Ya we got em.

A banking commissioner accused in a ponzi scheme.

A couple of liquor commissioners suspended for favoritism.

95% of the People want Pot to be legal but the Governor and Senate make too much money from the black market sales.

The FSP is nothing more than a Delphi method type of distraction that gives those uncorrupted idealists hope that someday truth and justice will prevail.

And what do you think will make it happen? Magical pixy dust and a healty dose of cynicism from Tunga?

Peaceful resistance to authoritarian governments has always been catalyzed by groups of dedicated individuals, and the subsequent evolution to something better has always been due in large part to their efforts.

ttie, is there a peaceful way to eliminate this mechanical beast from the system in a peaceful manner? Who ya gonna vote for that will do that huh?

What about the 17th Amendment? You think your gonna get a Constitutional Convention to overturn that piece of garbage?

Laws to strip us of our citizenship and prevent us from buying guns just for speaking out on web sites like this? Ya, it's coming ttie.

We need widespread opposition to increasing tyranny. Once you have enough people, they can implement their will many ways ... civil disobedience, voting, refusal to pay, social pressure, etc. We develop this group of people through education, media, FIJA, civil disobedience, politics, etc.

No, I think states will become independent, and I think the Fed's bankrupt anyway.

If we just sit around and gripe on said web sites, instead of getting off our butts and actually doing the civil disobedience/media/politics/education/FIJA/etc, I'm sure it will come.

Nope. I'm not interested in violence. It leads to nothing good.
