Heh.  Anything you do online can be subject to surveillance.  But putting it all on one place does seem like it makes their jobs too easy.  If they want to spy on me, the least I can do is make it somewhat more difficult...

While I do like the idea of not creating a paper trail for "them" to follow, I find it to be unrealistic. All you need to do is slip up once, and they have what they need - in fact, if you are reducing your paper trail, you may be making it easier for them. If they only have a few things to look at, then they don't need to expend many resources to check them out.

However, if you are generating a bunch of crap for them to follow, they may take longer to track you down and will at least be expending more of their resources in the effort.

I know more than one person on FB is planting false data. One was apparently visiting the North Pole the other day, while another took a trip to another state - all virtual of course. Imagine the FBI using FB to try to find you, and ending up sending agents to Guatemala to find you when you're actually strolling down the street in Keene.
