Thanx!  I was wondering if there would be an opportunity to see Lauren off somewhere I'm not banned and promised to be arrested if I show my face (except when they order me to go there and spend 12 days there).

As soon as we know, can someone please inform me (for MtJ) how to get mail to Lauren in jail? Thanks.

They will think twice before they arrest you while wearing your Bells.

What if they're the fashion police?

Wouldn't it be the same address that's been used for previous inmates there?  Just change the name, right?

Appreciate the convictions of activists like Lauren and Ian.  :_fire__by_zacthetoad: :love1: Save the personal cyber flame wars for tyrants but please spare the liberty proclaiming ones. :shithitsthefan:  Protest Lauren's jailing anyone, Sat or Sun?  :jailbird: :icon_guitarist:

Yes 5pm in the rain we, the boy and I, walked with Lauren to the front door. She was in good spirits... well that's Lauren you know.

Noticed that they changed the signage...

Obfuscation is business as usual for the powers that be. You or I are held to a very tight legal standard, they have lots of latitude.

========================

Thanks for saying please PattyLee... but I'll talk about what I please.

Ian has a conflict of interest, in that he "reports" goings on, and never says the underground... in fact he goes to great length to spin it to not say it. He has a need to own the activism. I think it is great all the work that Ian has done... I just don't like that he doesn't wield his power responsibly, he has his own personal agenda... I have lost faith in what he says. No one else seems willing to say these things, so I guess I have to.

========================

My patients is short...
I promised my friend's, that I knew were at extra risk, that they wouldn't be getting arrested that day. Being the good people they are they decided to stop in the parking lot to make sure their friends got into their cars safely...

Yesterday I had to look at the pain in my son's eyes, my friend's face.

Today I had to wake up thinking that my friend didn't get as good a nights rest as I did.

So in that light... the rest of this shit doesn't matter to me.

Geez Tom.  We still talk about the NHFree.com forum on-air, so I'm not sure where you got that idea.  NHFree.com is easier to communicate than New Hampshire Underground (it's the same site).  If this disagreement is about this website not getting enough credit on my radio show, then I am sorry.  I rarely come here as the Free Keene forum keeps me pretty busy.  If someone announces an event that was primarily organized here at NHFree on the FK forum, but doesn't bother to mention that fact, how am I to know?

I have no problem giving credit where credit is due, presuming I'm made aware.

Of course I have an agenda - get people to move to NH, specifically the Keene area.

FTL_Ian

Also, I have a lot of respect for you personally, activist-wise, and professionally.  Your critique is appreciated, especially if it represents what others are saying quietly.  I think it's inaccurate, though.  Back when NHFree.com was the only activist site of significance, it got a lot more credit, certainly.  These days it's mixed in with other sites like FK, and the new Free Grafton.

When we talked on-air recently about Barskey being targeted by the state gang for his food service, we referenced Free Grafton and Jason Talley's videos about the event.  I don't think I even knew a discussion was going on here about it at that time.  Even if I did, it's easier to point listeners to FreeGrafton.com than to have people hunt down a forum thread.

NHFree.com's forum still gets on-air mentions as a destination for people who want to get plugged in to activism here.  Besides that, it's not like my agenda is a secret, so I'm still not sure where the duplicity comes in.  Maybe you were listening once and I was describing an event that was organized primarily here and you felt that I was obscuring that fact, when I may not have even known about it.  Perhaps the NH Underground is so underground that even some of us are unaware of when it's the place where things are being put together?

Anyway, sorry if I dropped the ball and sorry for hijacking this thread about Lauren.

Yes 5pm in the rain we, the boy and I, walked with Lauren to the front door. She was in good spirits... well that's Lauren you know.

I wonder if she'd walked too slowly, if she'd paused along the way, or if she had waved goodbye to friends standing off the property, if they would have charged her with trespassing again.

Russell Kanning

exactly
I wonder if when some of the cops look at her through the little window in her cell....
do they think of her as "trespassing"
on "private" county property

I know, that for the first couple of days at least, she will be in a cell for 23 hours a day.
The rooms are cleaner and the showers were nice in the new jail. The air is also a little better and if you are not in a room 23 hours a day you can usually get some sun.
I don't know where they put the women in the new jail or if she will ever enter the normal "population" of trespassers.

It is funny in jail how you don't get a good feel for what the building is like since sometimes you are stuck in one room.

I might work today and take a rainy day off. Maybe Kat and I can visit her jail on Wednesday and maybe Lauren if she is allowed visitors. I have government ID now, so I can go inside without "trespassing".

FTL_Ian

There is a dedicated cell block for women.  The good news is you can visit pretty much anytime, presuming she's allowed visitors.  The bad news is visitation is even less personal and is done by video conference.  There is a way to get a personal visitation, but you have to go through the superintendent, from what I understand.  Who knows what hoops they will require you to jump through in order to get such approval.
