Someone who paints themselves as a moderate, who even believes they are 'moderate' may one day come to realize the benefits of going further as success demonstrates itself.? There's no reason to refuse their help while you're both walking along the start of the long road.

You only prove my point with this, Kate.  And I wasn't even referring to the adopt-a-highway thing.  It was anytime one has to work with him.

Christ, I don't even know what that means.  What, because Adam believes that you shouldn't have to go to the FSP leadership for approval every time *you* want to do something, somehow he's standing in your way?  What about individual choice is so hard for you to understand?

I tried to keep my mouth shut, but that's it.  Why aren't you happy unless you're attacking someone?  And would you ever have the balls to say anything like this to my face or Adam's?  When I saw you at the festival and we had a friendly exchange, I had a moment of thinking, "Well, maybe I was wrong; maybe our bad interactions were limited and we could work together on something."  I was right the first time--can you please, in the future, be as nasty in person?  Just for the sake of consistency?

What kills me is that some of the people you're going after have been working their asses off to get things moving for the FSP--and just because it's not precisely the direction that Queen Kat would pick, you decide to label them as blights on the organization.  And then, when they defend themselves and their work, you and Russell declare that you're clearly right because you're getting a reaction.  What do you expect?  (Pouring acid on a wound will get a reaction; it won't heal it.)  They're not perfect and sometimes they're awful; but their imperfection doesn't make just any alternative better.  If you could actually work with others in a half-way adult manner, you might be able to do some good.  Try it some time.
