Did you think he was black?

It didn't occur to me at the time, but I guess he is.
Is that a NO?
Did you just assume he was white?
He's a kinda nice brown color.

Maybe he likes the special privileges?

He could be 1/200th black and yet consider himself black...some do that.

You can be 1/128th Native American Indian and still get government benefits...

Yes that was what I meant...(although was not sure of the exact percentage)...for purposes of benefits....but let's not accuse unless we are sure.

<<What, because Adam believes that you shouldn't have to go to the FSP leadership for approval every time *you* want to do something, somehow he's standing in your way?  What about individual choice is so hard for you to understand?>>

Individual choice; I like it.  What do you think about us being able to individually vote for and against board members who claim to represent our movement?

Jane's trying ti hijack this thread!

Jane :-*

Yes LloydBob? You were saying?? 8)
And why are you kissing me? LOL

To show you i wasn't mad about you hijacking the thread

Lex

Just curious, but what would be the disadvantage of starting a competitive group to the FSP to try and recruit people to the free state?

I understand it would be somewhat confusing from a publicity stand point but maybe we can spin this in a way that would give the FSP and our version different personalities. FSP could be the more conservative/establishment version and we could be the underground version without any major hierarchy or registration as an organization. We could also be more targeted. Any recruts we get would be encouraged to also register with the FSP.

I know it sounds a bit chaotic but from the dialogue in this thread I get the impression that most people here feel like they aren't getting a chance to do any organized recruiting and so this underground version of the fsp might give us all the chance. Maybe one of our projects could be the Freedom Bus?

We could fund ourselves similar to the way Free Talk Live does it.

Just a thought.

Kat Kanning

They'd be mad about that, too.  Look at the alternative roger's campout that was proposed.

Aw I wasn't trying to hijack anything. ;)

Kat Kanning

Are you two going to kiss now?

Dave Ridley

With regard to jane's idea that we should just do what we've been doing...i might agree, and might think of an internal fight as a distraction. ?Except...an internal fight will very easily draw news coverage. ?And all publicity is good publicity as long as they spell Free State Project right. ? All we rebels need to do is make a couple calls I suspect. ?I will call Free Talk Live and bring this up soon probably, will hold off on local media for the moment. ?Maybe the bosses will be willing to agree to stand for re-election, in which case the divisions will eventually fade out.

[? (Personally, I avoid most of the website because it never changes and is deathly boring; I go straight to the forum--where the average member can (hopefully) say anything--and lose my temper.? Lol.)?

I think most people go to the forum.. the site is too 'busy'.  We need a clear flow.

Which conversation?

'think'in Janie's got issues.

Cobb wanted to report goings on in NH so I gave him the true story behind the Souter deal....which I don't wish to rehash here. I had to inform him that it was just the opposite of what he was reporting -- we weren't 'sour grapes riding on Clement's coattails' but that it was Clements who did this after we filed our petition. No matter because then FW jumped in (we previously told them to take a hike when they contacted me about our deal) this proved just what I was saying about not being a true grassroots effort...
Anyway........
Yes I have issues with Cobb, and Clements, and Amanda's support of Clements and such. And I think Cobb's article was metaphoric in that he meant we are all losing our rights now, just as the blacks were designated 3/5th of a person in the Constitution, not that he himself is black.

Jane don't you think that Clements did it all for a publicity stunt?  I mean he got his name out there and had thousands of hits on his site.
I don't know why people are so pissed at him.

Exactly why NHerites are P* at him! The man is broke and doesn't the know the laws in NH. If you are gonna do something, do it for real, do it the right way, and not just to get publicity for yourself and your failing business!

There should be no money to be gained by it, it's supposed to be to test the law and to make the lawmakers accountable.

(Applause for Dreepa who finally gets it...)
