Don't talk to the police: Man snubs DUI checkpoint
« on: July 28, 2010, 06:32 PM NHFT »
I am currently trying to get in touch with this guy who would not comply with a recent Las Vegas checkpoint.

It seems that a few people are now using the 5th amendment (rather than the 4th) to counter these ineffective checkpoints.  Another person who comes to mind is Steven Anderson of Arizona.  He declined to talk with the police and the police case against him was recently tossed out of court.

Nice video.  Thanks for posting.   I'm curious the guy in the video held up some papers to his window
for the cops to read...any idea what those papers said?

I left him a Youtube message asking him several questions, but have yet to hear from him.  That was one of my questions.  I might guess that it has something to do with the 5th amendment because that was his very first action.

He posted this text in the comment section of the first video:

Lance,

Thanks for posting that text.  I just did not read the comments section.  I'll use his ideas in my own note to the police.

I'll see about getting these printed up on business cards.

In case anyone here hasn't seen this excellent series, here are some links...

TheAntiTerrorist on dealing with the Police:

TheAntiTerrorist on dealing with the Police Part 1 of 2
TheAntiTerrorist on dealing with the Police Part 2 of 2

Just stop and contemplate on the information put forth in the video and how it might apply to yourself.  It presents a mindset (personalized and individualized, in each case) that requires some cultivation, a reassesment of your relationship with the thugs with guns.

TheAntiTerrorist has some addendums to the above videos on his website.

Now in most videos that I have viewed, individuals fail to deal with the police appropriately.  Individuals either try to converse about their rights, or else they evangelize about rights or liberty.  But the police aren't paid to have friendly conversations.

Here is a real life example of how to deal with authorities:
