          Welcome to Blizzard Project 1

        2010 New Hampshire General Election Strategy

The purpose of this Blizzard Project is to analyze the 2010 New
Hampshire general elections, and develop a strategy for keeping New
Hampshire as free as possible for upcoming years.

What Is a Blizzard Project?
===========================

A "Blizzard Project" is an alternative way to organize people in an
effort to accomplish a common task.  As many of us already know (and
as some of us recently discovered), Libertarians aren't very fond of
structured business meetings.  Libertarians are, however, usually
willing to participate in long, drawn out, forum discussions.  The
Blizzard Project is really just a way of accomplishing business using
the less formal media of email and/or forum messages.  The "blizzard"
of messages involved in this process is the origin of the term
"Blizzard Project".

Any given Blizzard Project can be broken up into one or more
subprojects... let's call them "storms".  Each "storm" pertains to a
group of related tasks or questions that can be worked on, more or
less independently of the other "storms" in the blizzard.  Each storm
has its own separate number, its own title, and its own separate forum
thread.

For example, storm #6 in blizzard project #4 might use the subject
line "BLIZZARD PROJECT 4.6 Vendor Booths".  This subject line lists
the Blizzard Project number (4), the storm number (6), and the title
of the storm ("Vendor Booths").

All forum threads in a blizzard follow the same standard format: the
subject line should contain the words "BLIZZARD PROJECT" all in caps,
(space), the blizzard number, (period), storm number, followed by an
optional title.  This enables blizzards to be easily managed on the
forums.  Forum administrators may or may not opt to create separate
forum categories for any given Blizzard Project.

How Do I Participate in a Blizzard Project?
===========================================
Easy!  Just reply to the forum on the thread the blizzard is on, and
include whatever comments or other input you like.  The Blizzard
Master (that's me!) will collect these comments and organize them.
(Kind of like making a snowman out of snowflakes. ;-) )

What if I Don't Want to Participate in a Blizzard Project?
==========================================================
That's easy, too!  Just ignore that forum thread or category.

I see someone isn't familiar with this forum at all.  ;)
What makes you say that?  Anything in particular?

Politics were kicked off this forum a few years ago. There used to be a sub-forum on here to discuss political activism but it was removed and there was a request made by the powers that be to move political discussion to other forums.

I'd say your blizzard of BLIZZARD posts would be political.

a couple of years ago we got tired of hearing how politics was the answer to our problems with the government
i also couldn't hold back from heckling those playing political games

if you want to do very radical revolutionary things by joining the fray in political races .... then that is fun to watch and some here like to participate

but if you want to do more standard stuff you will get more support on other forums
