What are some other freedom forums that you visit or know about?  How about very large forums?

I used to be on the FSP forum, but they couldn't be bothered to put up an area for Porcs to trade products and services.  After repeated requests, I quit.
I was on Free Keene, but Ian made it clear that he preferred Keene folks, so I quit that.

if your talking theoretical anarchy/econ of anarchy stuff, http://mises.org/Community/forums/TopicsActive.aspx?ForumID= is pretty solid

along similar sort of lines (although I don't really go there much) is http://www.anti-state.com/

Personally I think more pro freedom people need to post to other open forums.  It's great to preach to the choir in places like this where most people agree on issues and forums like this are good places to exchange information about arrests, rallies etc but there are a lot of people who are pro government and want to see everything they disagree with outlawed.  If left unchecked on other forums many of them can build very convincing arguments which the less informed person may see as the right way to go.

I'd suggest more people look at the forum on sites like the Nashua Telegraph (and the comments to articles) or sites like Red and/or Blue Hampshire (although Blue Hampshire quickly bans anyone who doesn't post lock step in line with what state democrats want out of you).

There's also a good forum on NHInsider.com.  I admit though I'm bias for that site since I write for the front page there.

if your talking theoretical anarchy/econ of anarchy stuff,

Thanks, Joe.  I am definitely not looking for theoretical.  I am looking for people on forums willing to take action.  I'll still look at those sites and maybe post something.

well I think its important to have sound arguments, especially before taking action.  Although some of the better posters are more infrequent now (you can say that about pretty much any message board though), the Mises forums are still a great place to sharpen your arguments.  Even if you are arguing for liberty, if your reasoning is flawed or shaky, they will call you out on it.

they seem to have all these committed to memory:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fallacies

Thanks for the sites.  I'll take a look.

Lildog,

I am actually looking for people who are interested in the issue of police checkpoints.  My question is really not so much about discussion as it is finding people active with this issue.
I have a humorous story about police checkpoints.  Last week in CT a state cop was killed while conducting a checkpoint stopping trucks on speculation. Later the same day, a West Hartford cop's arm was broken when he was hit by a car while conducting a dui stop.
