now that standard time has been thrown back on us, what time does the sun come up and go down up there in NH? I just read something about the sun going down at 3:45 on the shortest days in eastern Maine....

Can't resist this one.  ;) It goes down at sunset, and comes up at sunrise.  ;D

About 3:45 is the shortest day of the year, in Dec.
Go to work in the dark, and come home in the dark, for most folk.

In the northern tip of NH the sun actually disappears for 3 days around December 21st.

Alan, you definitely have a future as a weather forecaster. ::)

Yup, I can flip a coin.  ;D Chance of rain, with partly cloudy skies, follwed by partly sunny skies, with intermittent periods of snow or freezing rain, followed by a warm cooling trend. Highs in 40s-90s, lows lower than the highs.

As you can see S, there are no strange questions on this forum, just strange answers.

Also we should mention that for about a week we didn't see the sun in Oct.

Russell Kanning

I think we only saw the sun for a week in October.
