Time sensitive NH news: New Hampshire's executive council will review a jailed home defender's pardon application on January 19th.  The council is a sort of fourth branch of government designed to limit the governor's power.  The governor himself will meet with the the man's very active supporters on January 21st.   He has also reportedly indicated some opposition to a full pardon.   The home defender's name is Ward Bird.  Details:  http://FreeWardBird.org

over time some of us have lost one name status as more people joined us
I am usually 2 names, including "mr. kanning" to law enforcement officers, but sometimes just "sir", "RK" to my detractors on email lists
kat also gets called "maam" by the cops
i get a kick out of how often and quickly a cop will repeat sir sir Sir SIR sir .... like it is a magic word that gets you to comply .... then they go with the magical tones of pulling out the handcuffs

all of the guys going by "freeman" are never going to make the list

NH news: Jailed tax protester Elaine Brown of Plainfield, New Hampshire has apparently filed an appeal.  Though non-aggressive...she received a sentence far longer than that of the 9/11 conspirator Al Marri! Details:

Bad news!  Ron Paul only came in second at today's New Hampshire straw poll.  Federal Reserve supporter Mitt Romney beat him!   I feel some blame for this because I had been meaning to post a reminder about the event before it happened.  But I never got around to it.   You can help keep this type of loss from happening again by posting the dates of these relatively important votes at

Breaking NH news:  An activist named Auburn from Keene reports that plainclothed law enforcers, including an FBI agent, have just approached her door, 1/26/11.  She says they were attempting to question liberty activist Curt Hoffman.  She claims they essentially threatened to run over a videographer who started taping them.   Details:  http://forum.freekeene.com/index.php?topic=4692.0

Breaking NH news 2/2/2011: Source...John Martin of Plymouth.  Imprisoned home defender Ward Bird has just been issued a recommendation of FULL PARDON by the state's Republican-dominated executive council.  Governor John Lynch is resisting them and commutation is on the table.   Breaking NH news 2/2/2011: Source...John Martin of Plymouth.  Imprisoned home defender Ward Bird has just been issued a unanimous recommendation of FULL PARDON by the state's Republican-dominated executive council.  Governor John Lynch is resisting them and commutation is on the table.   

UPDATE from same guy:  "Commutation, time served, no sentence over his head, goes home after processing!"

This however apparently means his felony conviction remains on his record.
