PMWR kept getting hacked into and postings kept getting deleted. So with security issues we let that site go.

I do have a new site for everyone now,  hope people will be encouraged to write the Browns and the supporters. There is still plenty of work on the new site, but would love to have a short bio of everyone so to give a bit of insight to those whom are not familiar with this case.

One of the best ways to reach out to our political prisoners besides writing is sending a few bucks to their commissary which pays for supplies for correspondence, phone calls, personal hygiene products and food.

TO SEND A FINANCIAL DONATION TO ANY OF THE POLITICAL PRISONERS PLEASE SEND A MONEY ORDER TO:

Posting this as a Ridley Report bulliten

---

A site supporting NH tax protester Elaine Brown and her jailed supporters has been knocked offline.  I got this message from Donna VanMeter, who was helping to run the site pmrw.net/political-prisoners:

"Well harassment continues, the site kept getting hacked into and the people whom provided the service said they had never seen a hack like they did with what happened to PMRW.. Someone deleted all the postings and files we had on there, and those that were doing the hosting of the site told me the only thing they found when going into the site, was the phrase, 'SILENCE IS GOLDEN.'

So with that we just decided to go with a different company with better security and bought up DefiantForYou.com in which to utilize as platform to tell the stories of the Browns, Cirino, Danny and Jason."

Those of you who do disagree with the idea that dissidents should be "silent..." please visit Donna's site...DefiantForYou.com

There are over 493,000 sites hosted on pmwr.net. This tells me it's likely that they got caught up in one of those sweeping takedown orders for either copyright or child porn.

Or, at least ostensibly so. US.gov doesn't pay hundreds of professional "cyber security specialists" to sit around and wait to solve hacking crimes all for nothing, yanno. They use their time to create "enemies" where none need esist.

bump.  plz post any new info you have about NH related activist-prisoners and their addies.

OK she's not in jail but NH liberty activist Chris Lopez could probably use some mail at this location for a month or two starting in early July.....after a spinal injury.  Updates would be helpful.

NORTHEAST REHAB HOSPITAL
Chris Lopez
70-78 Butler Street
Salem, NH 03079

Since a lot of our detainees will end up at the Cheshire Co. facility, I found this info from them useful:

---

Incoming mail will be opened with the offender present and checked for contraband and money. You will receive a receipt for any money received. The mail will not be read...

*snip*

a. All outgoing mail must have a return address to include your full name and the Facility address, or it will be returned to you.

b. Outgoing mail addressed to government officials and other Official entities may be inspected in the presence of the inmate with due cause.

c. All incoming mail will be inspected at random for contraband. Introduction of contraband by mail, to include tobacco, postage stamps, matches, drugs, weapons, or any other non-approved item is a violation of the law and could result in felony charges being filed against you.

d. You may receive photographs as long as they are no larger than 3 by 5 inches and do not depict nudity or semi-nudity of anyone or gang related materials. You may not, however, have more than 10 photographs in your possession at any time. Computer images are acceptable, each sheet is one picture, and this is not to be posted.

e. Legal mail from any court and/or attorneys will be opened in front of the inmate

f. We will accept non-local newspapers by mail only.

g. We will accept religious publications from churches, ministries, and publishers only.

Packages must be pre-approved prior to them being mailed in. It is the responsibility of the offender to make sure this is done. Books must come from a book store or publisher and maybe mailed in, once approved, by the Director of Safety and Security

thanks for the info dave
I thought this line was funny and shows who they are really protecting.
I also get confused when I read these rules, since I associate "offender" with the thugs.

I talked to a family member whose loved one got punished for someone sending them stamps.

So if you want to cause someone in jail problems, just mail them stamps and they get in trouble.

At first I was like: "That's bullshit that they punish the recipient, who has no control over what someone sends him!"

And then I was like: "I see your point!"

I work in that dark industry (not happily, but that's a story for another time). I've never seen anyone on the inside punished for what someone tried to send him, unless there was a solid trail of evidence that he tried to have contraband delivered.

In most jails or prisons, money is banned. Barter is common, but stamps are the real coin of the realm. For a casual wager or an unauthorized service like a haircut, you might hear "N soups!" tossed around (or whatever the local preferred medium of barter happens to be).

For serious gambling or hard contraband, the money comes from the outside. That means speaking in U.S. dollars, which are most easily translated on the inside to USPS stamps. A receipt showing money placed on a commissary account also works.

Some of our Liberty activists who have done hard time are welcome to speak up here. They are probably our best "subject matter experts" for alternative currencies.

Riley still at Terre Haute as of Jan 2013.

And his "multiple stab wounds" story is still bullshit. He didn't even get stitches, much less go to the outside hospital. He got a bandaid.

I don't think he should be in prison in the first place, but bullshit claims of victimization don't make him a martyr. They just make him a bullshitter.

Edit to add:

My apologies, Riley did get stitches; I just reviewed my private messages to make sure. He was stabbed with a pair of tweezers taped to a toothbrush. It was "several stitches in-house".

He insulted a lifer over some sanitation issues.
