I just know if I was a babe, I'd use it to make buku bucks, and be mighty wealthy by 25.? ? >:D

This is why women make less than men. Men, more often than women, put money ahead of other factors. It drives most of their decisions. Women weigh things differently.

So few people --men or women-- will ever approach the upper levels where any "ceiling" might be found, that it's just not something 99% of the people will ever encounter.

If sexism keeps women out of the highest levels of management, then what kind of  "-ism" is it that keeps the vast majority of men from moving to those levels?

Lazyism?  Complacism?

Try competency. ?I have always used competency when I've promoted men. ?But there are statistics that show that men of above average height get more promotions. ?

Thanks for being honest.

What needs work is the process forward.

Each of us should ask ourselves how we can stay happy sexual beings, while having the freedom to advance our careers with equal expectations of success based on our professional abilities.

I say the answer is not in government programs, but lies in peoples hearts and minds.  We can make it happen if we choose to collectively hold each other accountable.

Excellent thoughts! But I hate that word "collectively". Bad connotations *shudders*

Welcome to the Underground, FB... there's always a female-deficit in the freedom movement so at risk of discriminating against my own kind lemme say double welcome!

You'll find we all love freedom, though we argue like hell over the details.  ;)

Thanks.  I'm passionate about women's issues as you can see, but also like to have fun with it.  Humor is important.

i know you're trying to be funny, but why is it that when a pretty women shows her face, you immediately make a reference to a prostitute?

Have you shown your face?  ;D

I was painting the other day, ran up against the ceiling, it wasn't glass though, does that count?

To live in the corporate world is to prostitute oneself.

You are so right.  Every one has his (or her) price.

However...

Wealth can be achieved within the confines of Freedom.

Confines... of... Freedom?  Is that a bit of an oxymoron?
