I was arrested in Rockingham Co and dragged away in a paddy wagon.

Be careful, now.  "Paddy Wagon" is a slur against the Irish.

A paddywagon is a vehicle used by police Police forces are government organisations charged with the responsibility of maintaining law and order.

"Paddy" is a common Irish name and was used as a pejorative word or phrase as it expresses contempt or disapproval with which to insult Irish people. Irishmen made up a large percentage of the officers of early police forces in many American cities, e.g., New York City which was at one time host to two competing police forces. This concentration of Irish in the police forces could have led to the term "paddy wagon" being created.

Some theorize that the backs of these vehicles were often filled with rowdy, fighting drunkards. Irish people have also been stereotyped in this regard, which may have also contributed to the term.

Make sure that you don't spread yourselves too thin.
I was also picturing people being unloaded/loaded in the appropriate area and getting out with signs. ;D

If there are arrests, will people be brought to the Londonderry jail or Rockingham county?

I was taken to the county jail.
I don't see why anyone would be arrested though. :)

Since there is a political event at the Londonderry Town Hall that afternoon people who do not want to get bogged down with the-- up until now ---undisclosed agenda--- can choose to protest Eminent Domain outside the Londonderry Town Hall where local selectmen acquiesed to allow this to happen--- and that an aggrieved party may actually gain some public momentum.

The event will be from 1:00 to at least 3:00 at the Londonderry Town hall. Candidates for the open Auburn/Londonderry NH House seat will be present. A moderator will ask general questions of all candidates and there will be questions from Londonderry and Auburn residents.

Russell Kanning

Political events bore me. I like to be where the real action is.

Freedominnh, seemed to be indicateing a few people may hangout outside with a sign or two. Just giving the time and location. Londonderry is one of the towns where eminent domain is happening.

GT, as a Londonderry resident will you be inside?

I was planning on it. I need to find out who these people are if one of them is going to get my vote. Plus I had to send 5-6 emails just to get the details of the time and format of the event was. Seems to be a big secret.

Oh and for the Londonderry Town Councilors who lurk here, but do not post. It's just my opinion that it's a secret, although the town website still incorrectly lists the event as 8:30am to 5:00 pm....

Uhhh, guys... this is going to be extremely bad if we do not move the protest.

Manchester Airport has signs ALL OVER the place outside the doors stating:
"ABSOLUTELY
NO STANDING
NO WAITING
NO PARKING"

Everyone who stands there in protest will probably be arrested.

I don't see any reason why we would be arrested. I don't even think we will be violating any of their rules that they sent us in the mail.
