Controversial comments caught on tape.

Don't know his full name... Chris is apparently his first name, and I believe he is a Portsmouth rep with roughly three terms under his belt.   Anyone know more?

Ummm...  perhaps this "lawmaker" is unfamiliar with the document that he swore an oath to uphold.  If he WERE familiar with it, he'd know Article I - Section 6 - Clause 1, which says that members of both Houses of Congress "...shall in all Cases, except Treason, Felony, and Breach of the Peace, be privileged from Arrest during their attendance at the Session of their Respective Houses, and in going to and from the same; and for any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other Place."

Having once sworn an oath to said document, I made sure to memorize it.

One other thing that may interest you Dave: http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h112-1495

Introduced by Dr. Paul yesterday.  It is so hot-off-the-press that the text of the bill isn't even attached yet.
