Yeah, they won't be flying out of Lambert for a few weeks.

When I was a kid, Arkansas was the number one state for tornado deaths. Other states had more tornadoes, but when they hit us, they always caused more deaths.

Circa 1990~ish, a big one skipped through my home county, from SW to NE; this threw people off, because tornadoes there usually come from the NW.

The tall stands of timber make it difficult to see the horizon, and one man who lived east of my home town was standing on his front porch trying to figure out the weather. He got his clue when the F4 appeared over the 40 foot pines right across the road from him.

He turned and sprinted through the house, snatched his wife up from the front room sofa and ran to their bedroom, with the house disintegrating around them as they went, and by the time they hunkered down and the storm passed over, the four walls surrounding them were the only thing left of their house. No roof, just those four walls, and the rest of the house scattered to the winds.

Tornadoes suck.
