On Friday I was coming home from giving blood.
The car in front of me hit a bear...

Last night coming home from the Selectman's meeting I was thinking this is where I saw where the bear was hit. BAM I hit a deer.
Not much damage to my car.  A little bit more to the deer.  The cop had to put him out of her misery.  He saw my CA plates.  He said Welcome to NH.

I guess I really live here now!!  ;D

This is too funny.  You have to call into FTL about this.  If you cannot, please at least email Ian.

We've hardly even seen a deer in NH....much less hit one.  I guess we're not real NHites yet.

Dreepa

I'm ok... wearing my seltbelt!! (I almost never wore it in CA--maybe because I was forced to)

Car has a few bumps.  There is some hair sticking out of my hood.

Dreepa

Nah not that bad :D
My wife just called me.... the auto shop wants about $2000 to fix it. It truly has a few bumps.  The part that sucks is that I have to get my car inspected because I just got  Nh tags on Tuesday.  I guess I have to go meet the cop too.

Oh, man, bad luck.
So I guess it's true what they say about the prolific wildlife...

Damn hell!  Are there any other tips to help avoid this besides keeping one's eyes on the road?

Kat Kanning

I suggest not hitting the deer and moose.

Pat McCotter

Don't drive through any forested areas.

My insurance company told me that the deer hit me.
