The fictional iconic superhero renounces his U.S citizenship following a clash with the federal government.

There is a lot of that going around... clashes with the US Federal Government... it's so bad it pisses off comic book characters.

The kids have been watching some of the old Superman cartoons (ie, from the 1940's).  Amazing difference between them, and how things are portrayed, now.  Lois Lane is riding a train and some thieves try to hijack it.  She doesn't just scream for help; she struggles with one of the thieves and he's knocked off the side of the train, then she grabs his dropped Tommy gun and starts firing at the car that's running on the road along side the train with the other thieves in it.

No "guns are evil" message.  And Lois apparently knows how to work one; no one needs to teach her.

The downside to this story: he's solidly behind the UN.

Hence why the old ones are good!

Well... Fuck It then.  The boy is always looking for some thing to replace his daddy, so he'll know what to do with his powers.

Perhaps now Captain America will become= Captain Anarchy.
Replace that star on his shield with an anarchy A.

Not really:

Um, I was referring to the 1940's animated show, like I said earlier...

But that's certainly amusing.
