That is a nice splitting maul.

Did you see the wood that guy was splitting?  If he'd have dropped it on the ground it would have fell into twice as many pieces.

i introduced my dad to the cute little hand splitter we used .... they love it. My little nephew loves to work the handles and split up the wood. There is something about a little kid doing 10 tons of work. :)

I'd like to see him try that with sweet gum.

Not a single knot in that wood makes it look easy. In very cold temps wood splits easily..even if green.
The only cool thing was the littel logbelt to hold it altogether.
