In theory, Fully Informed Grand Jurors could turn the tables on the evil government gangsters.

Just a happy thought.

Some bureaucrat just called me wanting more info about Russell.  She seemed peeved about the amount of info he'd given her.  She did tell me where he is.

A few points...

1. The empire is so fragile that pacifists armed with chalk pose a threat.

2. Kanning just had to upstage Johnson, didn't he.

3. Glad you have located your honey Kat.  :)

So the things this bureaucrat lady wanted to know:

Does he have any assets (How much money can we get out of him)?
Does he have mental illness (Can we lock him up forever and drug him)?
Does he do illegal drugs (Can we lock him up for that, too)?

Federal Court is really precise about the way they do things ....
========================================

fyi... the folks at federal court are a whole bunch different than state courts.

misdemeanors have lots of rights ... they use pretrial services a lot. they have good docket information. the clerks are usually very helpful and reasonable.    www.uscourts.gov
pacer is the name of the docket system they use.

the us attorney has a lot of latitude to "disposition" cases with pleas... a magistrate (judge) usually handles misdemeanors.
